The End of the World Train from Ushuaia. The southernmost narrow gauge train in the world.

The End of the World Train invites you to relive the last 7 km of the old prisoners' train route, which departed from the Ushuaia prison to the slopes of Mount Susana to obtain various construction materials. Aboard the train, you can hear the story and delight in magnificent landscapes, including the winding Pipo River, the Macarena waterfall, the tree cemetery, and the majestic forest.

Itinerary details

This tour is recommended for the whole family.Children will enjoy the train whistles, the shunting yard, and its smoking locomotives, while their parents can have a cup of tea, take photos, or simply relax.

The first stage borders the Pipo River, where herds of wild horses can be seen.

At the first stop, called Cascada de la Macarena station, there is a reconstruction of the huts made by the Yámana Indians of the area. Another trail leads to the small waterfall; the stop lasts 15 minutes.

The journey continues through Tierra del Fuego National Park, allowing travelers to enjoy rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and lenga and coihué forests.
