The Beagle Channel or Onashaga Channel In the native language, it's a strait that connects the Pacific Ocean with the Atlantic. Ushuaia stretches along this famous channel, and the port is located right in the center. Daily excursions depart from here to explore the area aboard catamarans, sailboats, motor sailboats, and yachts. A varied selection of opportunities to spot sea lions, cormorants, petrels, condors, gulls, and penguins—in other words, the abundant birdlife of the Beagle Channel in all its splendor.
