The Route of the Spider Crab is one of the most interesting and captivating circuits on the planet, given the combination of exquisite dishes made with fresh seafood and spider crab, with dazzling landscapes, where the forest penetrates the Beagle Channel in an exciting and capricious way. After traveling along National Route 3, after 35km we will have the intersection with Provincial Route J, which will take us for 40km more in the middle of the forest and accompanied at all times by the Lasifahsaj River. Our first destination: Laguna Victoria. There we will have breakfast in an ancestral site, full of history of our native people. This lagoon, which freezes in winter, is a natural site par excellence throughout the year. After the snack we headed to Puerto Almanza, a small fishing village located on the east coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from the city of Ushuaia. The name of the place comes from a sawmill that operated in the area between the 40s and 50s. There we will contemplate the beauties of the place, and we will have our reservation ready to delight ourselves with the most original autochthonous dishes, at the shore of the Beagle Channel. You can try the spider crab au gratin with a variety of cheeses, cooked in butter or fish of the day. After lunch, we will have the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Tierra del Fuego, from a trail for all public, in the middle of the river and the lenga forest. Not to be missed by the whole family and friends. Finally, we will begin to travel the Ruta de la Centolla, and then return to Ushuaia.
