4x4 adventure. Beaver watching with dinner from Ushuaia
One of the best experiences you will have during your stay in Tierra del Fuego, the End of the World. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of the ecosystem engineers, and learn from the teaching by experts, how they work, as well as the methods of construction of dams and burrows.
The excursion begins upon arrival at the mountain refuge on the shores of Lake Fagnano. Once there, we will have a delicious snack and begin our hike, where we will enter a centennial lenga forest until we reach the beaver area.
We will have to approach stealthily so as not to disturb these incredible animals, which, as if they were architects, build their dams and burrows with the trees in the area.
These small reservoirs of calm waters, also chosen by families of geese, are the beavers' habitat. When we return to the lodge, a delicious dinner will be waiting for us.
